So, you’ve just emailed, called, or texted me to schedule your senior portraits…
The first thing we’ll do is have a consultation so that we can get acquainted with each other! We’ll meet with one or both of your parents at my home office, or via Facetime. During your consultation, we’ll schedule your viewing/ordering session (usually two days after your portrait session), plan locations, talk about outfits, makeup, and hair, and I’ll answer all your questions.
Next, PLEASE email me with any questions you have up until your session. I love it when my girls text me outfit ideas with pictures of what they’re putting together. Feel free to follow me on Pinterest to see what kinds of outfit ideas I’m pinning to my Senior Style Inspiration board.
The Main Event:
Usually, we’ll meet the makeup artist at her salon, but we sometimes do makeup on-location. We’ll go over your outfit choices and formulate a game plan of which outfits go with the locations we’ll be using. Then, it’s time for your shoot! As soon as you’re done with makeup, we’ll head out to your shoot. For insurance reasons, I ask that my clients bring their own transportation.
Your photos will usually be ready two days after your photo shoot, and we will go over them together at your ordering session. During your ordering session, we’ll watch a slideshow of all your images, and we’ll sort out your favorites. This is when we will place and finalize your order, so everyone who will have input on what is ordered should be there. For example, if your mom would need to ok the order with your dad, he should come to the reveal session. Please come prepared to order with a list of sizes and products that you need for your home or to send to relatives. Your prints will be ready within a month of ordering them, and we’ll arrange a time at my studio for you to pick up your gorgeous goodies!
